Oyster Rock is situated on the 7th floor of the Oyster Rock Apartment complex. overlooking the Oyster Box Hotel and within 80 meters of the swimming beaches and promenade in Umhlanga Rocks. This ultra luxury self catering apartment consists of a lounge, dining area and a fully fitted modern kitchen. There are two double bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms and 2 X 2 Bedrooms with Single beds with one bathroom. There is a also a separate Guest Toilet/bathroom
The apartment can comfortably sleep eight people. Quality linen and bath towels are provided. Off the lounge are sliding doors onto the patio with stunning views of the sea. Sit on the patio and listen to the sounds of the ocean whilst enjoying your sundowners or that cup of coffee in the morning. The modern kitchen has granite tops and is beautifully appointed and fully equipped.

There is also a microwave oven, under counter oven and hob as well as a washing machine and tumble dryer.The apartment has satellite HD TV (DSTV) as well as a DVD player. This was a beautiful apartment with a gorgeous view of the ocean over the Oyster Rock Hotel and Lighthouse. Convenient to many restaurants, the beach, and grocery stores, and a short taxi ride to the largest shopping mall in Africa (Gateway). Having stayed at a few rentals, this one was remarkable not only in how well appointed it was, but even the small amenities were generously provided. For example, the host left a couple of bottles of South Africa wine for us to enjoy. And the laundry room was well stocked with detergent and fabric softener, something I’ve always had to purchase at other rentals. There were other nice little details too numerous to recommend, but would definitely recommend this in the Umhlanga area, which by the way, has it’s own charm.

No better location in Umhlanga. Exactly as in the pictures. Spotlessly clean with thick new white fluffy bath towels. Underground parking bay right at entrance to lift. Definitely will be back

The listing for Oyster Rock couldn’t have been more accurate! The location is amazing, views stunning, and what you see is what you get. The pictures can’t have been taken that long ago as each room is entirely as you see it in the picture. The beds are comfortable, the A/C runs well throughout, kitchen is fully equipped, and the apartment block is very secure and well staffed. A highly recommended stay!!
